I never fall for this crap, i’ve warned my mom about this, however I did today…I clicked the link to review security settings
So I called AT&T who said no alternate email address was added
so I looked at the email from address and it was ffm-trans@t-online.de
They didn’t even try to be tricky about it. The link was at https://o11.me/MyKRI. Yeah that looks like a legitimate AT&T address.
I did however change my real AT&T email password from a actual AT&T link, so I hope I’m OK!
Hopefully it was not a sophisticated scam perhaps expecting a MS-Windows link click.
I’m getting old and stupid.
I guess we all can get lazy.
