Jay Moseley responded about maketape.cbl

He was aware of the problem and actually fixed it many months ago. He just forgot to update his website! Sent me new sources which worked fine.

Biggest OpenSuse/Tumbleweed problem…so far!

I’m trying to be patient but not having VS Code and Atom available is a problem. I can and am using other editors. But Tumbleweed has become my primary development environment. And VSCode is a big part of that workflow. I just assumed that I’m not the only person with this problem, and that it …

VSCode problem

After latest update VSCode still doesn’t work and no error. Googled and saw a suggestion to use the –verbose flag. So typed code –verbose and it last message was…GPU process isn’t usable. Goodbye. I have editing to do, going to use atom for now! Except atom is failing also. Perhaps an electron issue. I have …

Now I can rewrite my Python toHerc in Go!

Now that I have a Go clipboard program that works, I can rewrite my Python toHerc program in Go. And because it creates a static executable, unlike Python, I don’t need prerequisite instructions to install the Python clipboard package.
