Regarding the previous problem. I got a reply saying to try entering
Load ""
Took me a minute to figure out how to do the above. You first press J, which shows up as LOAD on the screen. Then you press Ctrl-P twice for the 2 double quotes. Finally you press Enter. The ending L is flashing and is not part of the command. I think it means it’s expecting a Letter.
That solved the problem!
Also, although apparently Manic Miner was a popular ZX Spectrum game in the UK, maybe it’s the American in me… but this looks more impressive
Or even this (Not bad for 1983 graphics on an 8 bit computer)…
