I found out that IEBGENER can change the LRECL on output. So I didn’t need to write a COBOL program to do that, like I mentioned in a previous post One million records!. Truncation to get rid of the last byte turned out to be easy after many unsuccessful attempts. Thank God for Google because the doc was very hard to understand.
