Linux spell check… Sucks!

And because I sometimes suck too… I don’t want it to suck. I’m not always the best speller, but usually I know when I spell a word if it’s wrong.

So I’m typing something in Linux desktop Signal, something about US citazins. I knew when I typed it that it’s wrong… and it looks wrong. Signal put that squiggly red lined under it telling me it was spelled wrong. I right click on it and it suggests citations. Which is obviously very wrong. So, I paste the sentence into LibreOffice Writer and it suggests the same word. I know probably most browsers (which I actually use all the time for proper spelling) are much better at figuring out the correct spelling. So I paste it into DuckDuckGo. It immediately comes back with a sensible and correct spelling of… Citizens.
