Graphics card
Thinking about upgrading my ancient 2GB Graphics card to something better so I could better run X-Plane 12 with. When it comes to Graphics cards, thinking about it is something I often do. I haven’t upgraded it in years. It’s probably been with me for 3 computer builds. Honestly it’s not bad on X-Plane 11. …
Known
Just a stupid gripe, I was watching a computer video and the creator pronounced it with 2 syllables. I knew immediately it was wrong. I watched 3 pronunciation videos to confirm. It’s pronounced similar to the word own, 1 syllable not similar to the name Owen 2 syllables. It doesn’t end with wen.
Linux 9.9 vulnerability
The other day Bryan Lunduke said there was a severe Linux vulnerability 9.9 out of 10. This severity is higher than some high profile vulnerabilities seen in the last few years. And yet, I’ve only heard about it through Bryan Lunduke’s YouTube channel that I only subscribed to a month ago. Today he revealed it …
New thumbnail for my IMSAI 8080 video
Looking at a previous post for my IMSAI 8080 YouTube Video, which only showed the computer from the side, I created a new thumbnail which shows it from the front. I tried to upload this… But it showed up as this… I tried png and jpg. I ended up selecting the auto-generated one above (top …
Winamp opened sourced
So strange. How often do I talk about Winamp? I talked about it 20 days ago. Well I Was watching Bryan Lunduke on YouTube, who I’ve been enjoying lately due to watching “Python Bans Prominent Dev for Enjoying the Wrong SNL Sketch”, basically for woke crap, which he put out over a month ago. Anyway …
MilkDrop like plugin
I mentioned this a few weeks ago. I use to love the MilkDrop music visualization plugin for Winamp. I could watch these for hours while listening to music. There were many different effects (presets) visualization in MilkDrop, some reacted to the music better than others. MilkDrop is still a thing, and it’s at version 3. …
LibreWolf… default browser
Nothing in settings to make it the default browser. I think the following worked for me. I think I changed other things first, that didn’t work. After the below change, It asked at next start!
LibreWolf browser
I forgot to mention it, but I’ve been using the LibreWolf web browser (based on Firefox, focused on privacy, security and freedom), for a few days now. Brave was working pretty well, until I admittedly probably had too many tabs opened. So far Firefox hadn’t had that problem. I had to uncheck “delete cookies and …
Sign in with google button
I downloaded the OpenSky app, a few days ago, on my android phone and it appeared to only way to create an account to sign in was to use the “Sign in with google” button. I never do that. I always create a specific sign in. I thought I read something in the past advising …
