Because of the previous CAD software post. I decided to look at this software again, and found that the previous version (I had in my download folder) was 7.02, but it gave a fatal error. So I downloaded the current version 7.5 and it had the same error. This sounded familiar. I was about to hit the forums, then I realized there were 2 programs in the folder… SweetHome3D and SweetHome3D-Java3D-1_5_2. The Java3D version ran without problems. I hate when I don’t document this stuff. Hence this post.
It’s a cool little program, a real CAD program is probably overkill for basic home layouts. If I remember correctly, I found this program because my daughter had to create a layout for a hypothetical business.
