A low tech way to know how long my power has been out. It has a fairly bright blue back lighted dial, that would be a great nightlight if you wanted that. I don’t, I like it pitch black where I sleep. I don’t keep it in my bedroom.
This was more important a few years ago when I might be gone from my house for many hours. I’d come home, my microwave clock would be on 00:00 and I had no idea how long (5 min or 3 hrs) the power has been out.
