I’m, in 141. Writer interface & writing to a file section of Todds Go course.
So I thought I’d review my old (old?), 2021 file i/o programs, only to find that VS Code has struck through some of my old code saying it’s deprecated. This was a little disconcerting, because I like to have skeleton programs to build upon.
You can say good or bad things about this. The good? They can make improvements, whenever they see fit. The bad? How often will they “see fit”?
Turns out it wasn’t a big change… Had to change deprecated “io/ioutil” to “os”
