Per their homepage, I installed Lazarus 3.0RC1 from sourceforge, just a few days ago. Per X (formally twitter) I thought I was installing V3.0. But the About said 3.0RC1. So because I had some errors I was on their forums, and it seems that this is a known issue. And the solution here, being install from source, using git. Not being familiar with the process I also removed fpc and it’s sources. Which I had to reinstall using my existing debs. So in running it, I see it’s actually version 3.1. Seems like a big jump from 3.0, which I just learned about.
