I found my old Fortran book

Finally! From school. The oldest (April 1957) language. I took one Fortran class at school. I was looking for this book probably over a year ago when I was playing with gfortran. I must have looked for it at least 5 times since then. It’s red just like I remembered it. And I looked at all the obvious places including computer books stacked on the floor. Red isn’t exactly a hard color to spot. And yet until tonight I couldn’t find it. It was of all places…in the bookshelf next to other computer books. Riiiiight…I never thought to look there. There’s no way I didn’t look for a red book in the book shelf where I keep old computer books…at least 5 other times. There’s only one explanation…ghosts. They took it and finally replaced it when they realized it was for humans.

I’m only halfway kidding about the ghosts. I looked for a red Fortran book, multiple times, in my computer bookcase. And then one day it just appears, where I know I looked many times before? Just to be clear the book is red all over, including the spine.

A ridiculous idea is I sleepwalk, and put it back. Ridiculous, but more logical than ghosts.
