Had a couple of issues I didn’t have before. It was installed on an older system so perhaps the following requirements had been addressed previously and I wasn’t aware.
- It didn’t like spaces in a folder in it’s path. Most likely always a thing, probably previously installed in an exceptable directory structure
- It needed python.
- I needed a python link to python3
- I needed python virtual environments
- sudo apt install python3.8-venv
