Hard to believe but It seems I have severe hardware problems again. Logged in twice and kicked out to signon screen twice. Right before started hearing noises. Suspect brand new hard drive that I replaced 2 weeks ago, which is also my home drive. This is a nightmare.
My computer is only 4 years old…this upcoming July. But it is heavily used.
Now in my mind I’m strongly suspecting the computer itself. Is there some glitch that is causing my computer to sabotage the hard drives?
To recap the end of April I lost my video. I reseated the video card and that worked…but it also appeared I lost 2 hard drives right after that. So ordered and replaced with brand new hard drive and have been working fine until today.
I thought I lost my raspberry pi…but I didn’t. I had been using it as a pi-hole. There are green and orange lights under the Pi Ethernet connection that weren’t lit and because of my problems I jumped to that conclusion. I guess the Ethernet cable had became
So it may change but as of today I have to suspect some sort of power surge has perhaps corrupted my motherboard or even the power supply itself. I should have been using a surge protector. I have in the distant past but not for many years.
