I’ve forgot so much. Looking through some old Assembler source I saved from BankAtlantic, and I found a few where I was using CICS macros. For example, UGETFILE and UPUTFILE PC file transfer programs. I found this description on the Internet “Provides file transfers to and from temporary storage and transient data queues. Can be used as a superset replacement for IBM’s unsupported IND$FILE for CICS”. I wish I had a practical reason to use mainframe assembler today.
