I’ve been keeping some personal notes in LibreOffice Writer for a few years. I’m currently have 151 pages. This file is 294K. Just for fun I decided to paste the contents into a plain text file…to see how much smaller it would be. And…it was larger! At 384K it’s quite a bit larger…relatively speaking. Surprising to me since the LibreOffice file also contains formatting with various fonts and sizes and bolding and highlighting.
