However I think many of my complaints really are with KDE. Hot corners or Screen Edges as KDE calls them, stop working. And now my System monitor which I always want to start only in Virtual window 4…starts in all desktops. I right click on the title bar and select Move to Desktop and All Desktops is selected. I change it to 4 AND Configure Configure Special Window Settings settings as seen below. When I reboot it’s back to all desktops!
O f**king K, I really hate to curse…BUT I’m really getting annoyed. I just saw there is also a Configure Special Application Settings and it had the exact Virtual desktop setting as Configure Special Window Settings (seen above), but it was set to all desktops. Why are there 2 places with the exact same setting? And why would ALL windows be the default? Silly me I thought the whole point of Virtual desktops was to separate your tasks. If every task is going to run in every window, I might as well have only 1 window.
I love KDE when it works. When it works is starting to be my usual experience. But I’m really getting tired of this crap. I use Linux Mint’s Cinnamon desktop and the hot corners ALWAYS work!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
