Window restore button…one of my biggest KDE gripes!

Very often when I restart my computer it restores my previous windows that were not maximized and ARE now maximized. Pressing this restore button causes the window to move just enough to show that it’s aware that you clicked it, maybe 1 or 2 pixels. And I can never manage to move my mouse far enough to the left or bottom left corner to be able to show that I’m able to resize the window by dragging it! So I have to move the whole window to the left enough where I can grab an edge or corner to finally resize the window. An incredible time waster! There should be logic that if the size of the window has only changed a couple of pixels after a click that it automatically will shrink 50%.
