Pretty upset. I’m a tightwad, $84 is a lot of money to me. Saw the paid invoice today… cancelled today. I could have bought 2-4 nice meals… for me, because I’m a simple guy and I don’t go to fancy restaurants. Apparently I joined a year ago, as a small gesture to show support for Elon for buying X. I would NEVER knowingly sign up for auto subscription renewal. The one exception I can think of is my Internet, but that saves me $10 a month. I could care less about the stupid blue check mark. It was NEVER important to me. What would have been the downside of NOT subscribing? Loosing the blue check mark that I never cared about for a day or two? Even if it was important to me I could have just resubscribed when I realized it was gone. What other benefits do I get?
I guess I need to start taking screenshots of signup screens. Because, AGAIN…I would NEVER knowingly sign up for auto subscription renewal.
