Story of my life. Get a little comfortable with it. Then leave it for a few months, then return. Then I forget the many little ways of X-Plane 11. I think I could get farther if Twitch had some videos of people flying normal general aviation planes.
But nooo, everyone want’s to show that they could, if given the slightest chance, be a real commercial jet pilot. They’re so impressed with themselves.
They pray for a day when they’re on a real jet, and the pilot somehow becomes incapacitated or hopefully dies, so they can spring into action.
Then later be interviewed by the media… hopefully national, not local.
And then… despite no certification, be offered a job as pilot to replace the deceased pilot.
Some of the public protests, however the vast majority, realizing how trueley great this person is, support this move
Then… the FAA waives all testing and gives them an honorary certificate, allowing them to accept the position.
Then POTUS steps in and… awards them the Medal of Freedom
OK… I went just a little overboard.
General aviation planes are so beneath all of them.
