So I’ve struck out on 2 computer projects lately

#1 - The PiDP-11 project. Wanted to get my RSTS/E tape OS, over there. Being a loner, I've made my peace with lack of support. As they say... it is, what it is.

Quite honestly it's way more important that I figured out how to get the Basic-Plus program to process IBM EBCDIC tapes on RSTS/E under simh than running it on the PiDP-11.

Maybe I'll try copying one of the many working PiDP-11 OSs over from the Pi to my local Desktop simh, and running it. Maybe that will tell me something. IDK.
#2 - Running IBMs DB2 under Linux. I feel DB2 is something I want to know... as a personal goal. I knew IDCAMS, but that's not a DBMS. And I've forgotten most of it. I look at some of my old IDCAM jobstreams, and my eyes glaze over. VM/370CE with DOS/VS on the smaller side and MVS (TK5) on the large side, are pretty fulfilling IBM mainframe experiences... to me.

Thanks to emulation… I can relive big parts of my career at anytime… from the comfort of my home. Pretty cool!
