I don’t think I ever attempted to learn a language so many times to do something productive more than JavaScript. I start…I stop…I start…I stop…I start…I stop. However after recently learning enough Go to actually write an actual program. I can’t see myself using JavaScript to write anything useful. So although, thanks to node, I’ve enjoyed learning JavaScript more this time than I ever have in the past. I think I will once again hit the pause button on JavaScript and concentrate on Go. Probably the biggest roadblock for me is it’s emphasis on web development. Yes it would be extremely useful for that however honestly that’s something I’ve never cared that much about. I always enjoyed Python and I can see using Go for those type programs.
