Manjaro updates fail…Again!!!

I don’t think I ever wanted to like a distro as much as I wanted to with Manjaro. Perhaps if I tried more distros I’d find something better, but I don’t distro hop as much these days as I use too. This last year, Manjaro’s been trying so hard to be a professional distro. However I guess I just cant get it through my thick head that a distro that looks professional, just can’t manage to do what my “noob” distro Linux Mint has consistently done for years! And that is to reliably apply updates!

Anyway the timing’s good. OpenSUSE Tumbleweed recently installed.

Also my Manjaro desktop would get hosed all the time when as a new Manjaro user I tried to update using the Gui tool.

So here is my latest attempt to update Manjaro which reported that 234 Updates were needed (this took about 10 seconds)…
