Downloaded app and turned off this invasive feature, that Amazon turned on today for everyone. I know…why do I have an Echo in the first place? It can be a fun novelty device. These days I mostly use it for finding my phone. But I really don’t trust it, and keep it unplugged most of the time. Yes unplugged…not turned off by the off button. Which really tries to convince you that it’s off…press the button, it makes a distinct thump and the ring turns red. Well that should prove that it’s off right? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
