Have now successfully used Manjaro longer than I ever have before. Apparently only because I update manually from the cli with ‘sudo pacman -Syu’. How silly I was to assume that I should use the pamac app that tells me I have updates[by the clock at the bottom of the screen ]. I still use that to inform me that updates are available!
