Tried to install linux mint 19.3 but install hangs early on, after install third party software prompt! There are a few hits on this in google, but so far I haven't been able to get past it. I read a few suggestions about disconnecting s second drive…for me, out of the question.
Perhaps I should try PopOS. Been hearing a lot of positive things about it lately. Never had problems installing Mint in the past. I had no problems recently installing Manjaro. My current Mint LTS version is still supported for at least another year. But I may have to reconsider my main distro. If Manjaro becomes my main distro then I still need a non Arch based backup distro.
